Penny (Beppu) Fukui ’61 & Frank Fukui ’60
Penny and Frank Fukui, married for 57 years, have worked tirelessly for their community and received numerous honors for their dedication. They are currently the honorary co-chairs of the Remembrance Gallery at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup that will tell the stories of the Nikkei (second-generation immigrants) in Washington who were removed or affected by Executive Order 9066.

Barbara Earl Thomas is not only a nationally acclaimed artist and writer who has had her works shown all around the USA but also a committed community volunteer and the former director of the Northwest African American Museum.
Allen W. Wood ’60
Dr. Allen Wood, an emeritus professor at Stanford University, received his PhD in philosophy from Yale University, has taught at Yale, Cornell, Indiana and Stanford, and continues to supervise PhD candidates at Stanford and Indiana, focusing his work on existential and ethical questions.
